What we've been up to

Meaningful Work that's all thanks to you

Welcome to 2025!

Kailey’s Kisses is excited to share some events that we have in store for the new year! But first, we want to share just some of the events that we were excited to be a part of in 2024.

In the spring of 2024, we were pleased to announce our Inaugural candle fundraiser, that commemorates Kaily’s birthday, that was such a huge success. It enabled us to fund a special project, “KIDS KITS”. KIDS KITS enables us to provide to first responders and school officials, a small bag filled with items that will provide immediate stress relief to children who are in the throws of a new grief situation. These kits are filled with a comforting story about grief, a small plush animal, a photo frame to store a treasured photo, an age-appropriate activity to distract from their new reality and some little special treats. In addition to these items for the child (ren), there are helpful resources for the new caregivers to assist in navigating their new role in the lives of these children. This year we will be presenting some kits to our local agencies in the Onondaga and Oswego counties.

In the summer, we were participants in weekly informational booths at Mattydale Market. A local market where artisans, food vendors and community support showcase their goods and services to the community-at-large. We are excited to be involved with this again for 2025! Follow them on Facebook: Mattydale Market.

The spring also had us participating in our own The Village of North Syracuse Family Festival. An annual event that has been a staple for over 17 years in our community. This event was a fun family event that we were proud to support. We will be present again in 2025, make sure to come by and see what we are about and how you can be involved with Kailey’s Kisses. Follow the event on Facebook: Village of North Syracuse Parks and Recreation.

In the summer, we were invited to participate in The Great New York State Fair in Syracuse. We are hopeful to participate again in 2025.

In the fall, we were accepted into the Cicero-Plank Road Chamber of Commerce. What a great opportunity to be involved with a group of professionals that are truly community driven and focused. If you are interested in joining them as well, follow them on Facebook: Cicero-Plank Road Chamber of Commerce

We rounded out our year of events with The Village of North Syracuse Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting. What a great time, we are certainly looking forward to doing it again in 2025!

Our event page for 2025 is filling up quickly as well!

Our first event will be in the partaking of the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade on Saturday, March 15 in Downtown Syracuse, NY. Visit them on Facebook: Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade.

In addition to the amazing events we have participated in, we have been able to provide a little hope for a few children in need. As one can imagine, this is a topic that is difficult to discuss with some adults, let alone children. This conversation is something that we are very aware is sensitive. We are mindful to not compromise confidentiality in the family dynamic. We have a specific protocol in place to allow families to speak of their needs, specific to them, and assist in ways that they may not have thought about. If you, or someone you know, needs assistance, guidance or just an ear to listen, please reach out to admin@kaileyskisses.com. Our team is quickly responsive to questions and inquiries.

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who has reached out, shared our message, contributed to any fundraising and volunteering opportunity. We are so thankful to have you supporting our mission. May God bless you and your family.

Reaching the Community

Outreach that matters

On March 15th, 2025, the Kaileys Kisses team, alongside some amazing volunteers, participated in the Syracuse St. Patricks Parade. This was our first large-scale event of the year! We were able to reach the hearts and support of thousands of Syracuse citizens. We hope they enjoyed our bright smiles and cheery attitude and open their hears to our cause.

Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make this event a success!

Local Empowerment

Change for the Better

On January 13th 2024, with some American Legion Post 787 - Cicero, NY Auxillary Ladies on hand, we travelled into the snow for a day of fun. On our adventure, we happened upon an incredible group of people celebrating their year-end. Not only did they invite us to join them, through casual conversation of what they are about, we learned of their purpose to "give back". Well, they SURE DID!

Thank you so much Moose, and all of your crew Hades Hounds LEMC of Jefferson County NY for the heart to listen to our mission, your ears to hear what we want to accomplish and your generosity to our foundation. We look forward to meeting with you in 2024 for another great meet-up...this one will be planned.

Impact

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary

December 2nd 2024 - Over the past year, thanks to YOU, we have been able to blow a few "kisses"

1.We have found a child who lost her Mom. Her family just wanted her to feel happiness over sadness. #kaileyskisses provided her an opportunity to hear her Mothers voice forever through Build-a Bear.

2. We offered aid to families in need though a Benevolent Fund at a church local to our area.

3. #kaileyskisses was proud to suport The American Legion Post 787 - Cicero, NY Golf Tournament this summer, assisting veterans and their families serving our country in the past, present and future and multiple childrens charities this organizations contributes to year round.

4. This holiday season , we were able to provide a Christmas to a young boy who has lost his parent and being raised by his Grandma. Not only will she be able to put some gifts under the tree, she will be able to provide a few necessities he will need for daily life.

To say we are PROUD would be an understatement. We are so GRATEFUL for our AMAZING community that sees our vision and continues to show up. THANK YOU!

Spreading the Word

Showcasing our organization at Mattydale Market

June 10th 2023 - What a great day at Mattydale Market today! Thank you for having us and to all my amazing friends who came by to say "Hi". We made some cool connections and hopefully new friends to our Foundation. It only takes one conversation with the most unexpected person to know how we can make a difference.
